There's a new shoe god in town...

After years of creating desirable shoes for other brands, Michael Lewis has finally come of age and launched his own eponymous line.

He's a personal fiend of mine and after seeing his work over the years for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Burberry and Kurt Geiger I was so pleased for him when he won New Gen sponsorship at this season's LFW for spring/summer 10. It was this autumn/winter however that has seen his first collection wow the fashionistas and even secure exclusive sales at Dover Street Market.

I remember visiting his studio (to help him pen his bio release) and clapped eyes on his chic, ladylike shoes - but with Michael's irreverent cheeky style, translated into court shoes and strappy sandals to die for.

And not only is he hot property in his own right he is still consulting for other designers - currently Loewe, Luella and Jaeger London. Loved the polka and bow minnie mouse courts at Luella!

So here's a sneaky peak of his new spring/summer 10 collection (rocking the pastel trend too) - I hear the buyers are fighting over who will stock him now!
